Craven SPORT services was founded in 1997 as a sport physiotherapy, orthopaedic, rehabilitation and training company. A leader in Saskatchewan in the delivery of holistic health management, the company provides individuals with high quality, evidence based services in injury management, injury prevention and maximizing the client’s health and performance.
Craven SPORT services believes full injury treatment entails not just fixing symptoms but, more importantly, developing strategies to prevent further injury, maximize performance, and benefit from greater health.
Integrated Support Team
Craven SPORT services is home to a variety of health professionals such as Physiotherapists, Strength and Conditioning Coaches, a Psychologist, Massage Therapists, and a Registered Dietician who work together to form an integrated support team. When an athlete works with one of Craven’s professionals, they are really under the care of the entire team. Each professional is working in the best interests of the athlete so when they see that an athlete would benefit from the support of another professional on the team, they will encourage the athlete to see that professional. Athletes have easy access to any of the services the Craven team provides all in one location, including:
• Physiotherapy – There are 11 Physiotherapists on Staff
• Strength and Conditioning – There are 5 Strength and Conditioning Coaches
• Massage Therapy – There are 2 Registered Massage Therapists
• Fitness Assessments – Standardized fitness testing is available
• Acupuncture – There is 1 Physiotherapist Certified in Acupuncture
• Nutrition Consulting –Alison Friesen of Alison Friesen Nutrition provides Nutrition Counselling for many High Performance athletes at Craven SPORT services
• Psychology Consulting – There is 1 Registered Doctoral Psychologist

Alison Friesen Nutrition
Alison Friesen is a Registered Dietitian specializing in the area of Sport Nutrition. She recently graduated from the U of S with a BSc. in Nutrition and completed her dietetic internship early with the Saskatoon Health Region in February 2015. Alison brings strong athletic background to the field of nutrition, growing up competing in athletics, soccer and volleyball, both indoor and outdoor. Alison also spent a year in New Zealand, participating in an outdoor adventure program and finishing the program off by running a triathlon. Alison currently continues to stay active in cross-country skiing, biking and swimming.
Alison is a member of the Saskatchewan Dietitians Association (SDA) and Dietitians of Canada (DC). She is also a member of the DC Consulting Dietitians Network, Professionals in Nutrition for Exercise and Sport (PINES) and DC Sports Nutrition Network.
Alison is a Consultant for the Sport Medicine & Science Council of Saskatchewan, working with a large range of athletes. Clients include Canadian Sport Center athletes, Canadian Para-Olympic athletes, HDPC Soccer, SK Provincial Teams, University athletes and a number of club teams of various sports around Saskatoon and SK.
Alison enjoys working with a range of ages, including children, youth and adults. She understands that developing healthy eating habits starts at a young age and loves to work with families to help them support their young athletes. Alison is sensitive and brings a empathetic demeanor when working with children, youth and families
Alison recently launched her nutrition practice, Alison Friesen Nutrition, practicing out of Craven Sport Services and JB Performance. Alison uses a client-centered approach to creating plans that best suit her client’s lifestyle and performance or health goals. Alison takes pride in offering her client’s evidence-based nutrition information.
Brooke Bulloch RD (BSc)
Owner, Food to Fit Nutrition
With over 8 years in the field, Brooke has a variety of experience adding to her strong background in nutrition assessment, planning, and counseling that best supports clients. Brooke and her team at Food to Fit, personalize nutrition services to each client while focusing on sustainable outcomes. Step-by-step, practical adjustments to what, why, and how you eat can make vast strides to attaining confidence and balance while reaching your goals.
Today Brooke’s primary focus includes:
· Infant feeding and introducing solids
· Mindful/intuitive eating
· Vegetarian eating
· Food allergies
· Irritable bowel syndrome
· Sport performance
· Chronic disease prevention
Facilitating group workshops and public speaking is a big part of her work and she presents regularly to local gyms, sport groups, community groups, corporate wellness programs, post secondary schools, and professional events.
Brooke holds memberships with the Consulting Dietitians, Sport Nutrition, and Media Networks under Dietitians of Canada, The Centre for Mindful Eating, and the International Society of Sport Nutrition (ISSN).
In 2015, Brooke completed Dietitians of Canada/Sport Dietitians Australia Intensive Sport Nutrition Course in Calgary, AB.
